Tage got some company this weekend. His Nana and Aunt Donna Mae got to the house Friday night around 8:30 and got to witness bath time. Lots of splashing and excitement. Tage slept good that night and was ready to go the next morning. Tim and I put Tage's new car seats in the vehicles and got rid of the rear facing one for GOOD. He loves riding now that he can look out the window and see everyone in the front seat. Tage and Buddy were taking in a wagon ride while Tim and I were doing some garage work. We went shopping Saturday afternoon at the mall and took lunch at Marketplace. Tage had his first table scraps.....french fry, part of a sliced tomato, and Nana's bread. I was so proud to see my little boy eating grown up food. We spent the rest of the weekend just playing and relaxing. The boys will be going to the babysitters tomorrow, so tomorrow night everyone should be wore out. This week should be an easy one, Tage has pictures Tuesday afternoon and the rest of the week we have nothing planned. We plan on going to MV this weekend for some Easter pictures, horsey rides(get ready paw paw cause here I come), and loving from Grammi and Paw Paw. Well the boy is sleeping as I type and needs to get awake for his nightly bath time. Hope everyone has a good week!!!!

Well it has been awhile since we posted anything. We have maw maw and paw paw on facebook now so they have been able to see pictures of the boy through facebook. It is currently snowing in Farmington, we are so ready for spring to arrive we are SICK of snow. I can't imagine what Pennsylvanians are feeling like right now. We don't have anything planned for today just relaxing and some minor house work. The one boy is sleeping and the other two are in the kitchen. Tim is cleaning up from breakfast and Buddy is waiting for a piece of bacon to fall on the floor. We have had a good Valentine's Day we finally got an SUV that we have needed for awhile. I know Aunt Nikka isn't liking this, but now Jarrod its your turn don't let her down! I also received a card, chocolates, and a lint roller. I ask Tim why the lint roller, he said when he walked into Target they were on sale for $1.00 and he knew ours were getting low. I thought this was so funny. The thought is what counts:) Hope everyone has a wonderful day and Tage sends out lots of love on this Valentine day!!!

Today Tage went to the doctor for his 6 month check up (we are a month behind). Everything looked good and went good. The boy weighed in at 20 lbs 10 oz and is 28 1/4 inches long. He ranked in the 90th percentile for his weight, height, and head circumference. Tim was so excited about his height. I am hoping that he takes after his daddy on height and weight. Tage was VERY active today at the appt. We had to hold his arms and legs down because the nurse couldn't hear his heart beat from all his kicking and squirming. Miss Jill (his nurse) couldn't believe how much he had grown in 2 months. He also grabbed the measuring tape for his head out of Miss Jill's hands and ripped it in two, so she had to go get a new one. We also had to sit up on the scales because we were too big to lay down. Tage got up on all fours and moved his left knee an inch....he is almost crawling my eyes filled up with tears. What has happened to my LITTLE boy?????We got a clean bill of health and have to go back for his 9 month check up.

We had our Christmas party for Miss Amber on Sunday evening. Tage got to play with his daycare friends and sit on Santa's lap. He just smiled at Santa and pulled his beard down a couple of times. Santa had to quick fix it before the other children saw. I think I am starting to pay for my raising! My mother told me this day would come, but why SO SOON?

Tomorrow Tage is having a friend over to play. One of the hygienists I work with, her little boy is staying with us. Miss Amber has to take one of her kids to Little Rock for a Dr's appt. I am curious to see how the two will play together.

Here are some pictures from the week hope you enjoy!!

Ready to get out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well for the past week Tage and I have been stuck in the house with this stinkin weather. It is too cold to get him out and I am going crazy. We planned on going to Baby Bookworms on Thursday, but Tim didn't think that was such a good idea. The local library does a story time and song time for the kids it lasts about 30 minutes. Tage loves ringing the bells that the lady hands out.

We are excited about being able to stay at home this weekend. We don't have too much planned. Tage has his Christmas party for Miss Amber's on Sunday. Tim is sooo thrilled about this:) It has been moved up to 5pm so that helps out.

I am officially a facebook junkie along with some of you guys. I finally broke down and joined this week since we couldn't get out. I found some disturbing stuff though. I had ask my father-in-law to be my friend and on his profile page he noted that he was interested in men and women. Someone hacked into his account and changed some of his information. I got so tickled! We at least got a good laugh out of it. I have an idea who the hacker was. I will just say someone elses fb account was hacked into over Christmas. Paybacks always bite you in the butt sooner or later:)

Tage is working on crawling. He gets up on all fours and sways back and forth. He gets very frustrated at times and falls over and cries. He doesn't have much patience (takes after his mom). He is grabbing at everything and you really have to watch what is in the floor. He likes the cell phone and the TV remote. I had to get an old remote that way he wouldn't change the channels. He is such a good little boy. I am going to post some pictures that were taken throughout the week. We will post again later. Everyone have a good weekend.

Snow Day!!!

Well this morning we woke up to snow on the ground. It was so pretty. We had about 2 inches. We stayed pretty busy today. I finished cleaning the house, Tim worked on laundry, Tage pulled out his toys (more work for mommy) and Buddy just laid around today. He still hasn't recovered from our Christmas break. Tomorrow is all back to normal. The boys go to their places and dad and I are back at work. There was a lot that went on today that needs to be reported in. The first thing was Tim was SUPPOSED to be watching Tage while I finished my cleaning. I was in my bathroom and I heard the TV channel change to football. I went out to the LR and found Tage with the remote in his hand. I thought it was funny and went back to what I was doing, not long after that I heard the channel change again to music so I came back out to see what was going on and the boy was recording love songs to the DVR. I got so tickled and thought I needed to get a picture of Tage with the remote and daddy asleep while he should have been watching baby.
This afternoon I wanted to take Tage out in the snow to see how he would react. He looked at the snow and wanted to play, but I wouldn't let him. He has just got over a cold and I don't want to go through that again. The boy is fixing to cut some teeth his two laterals on the top are almost through(for Uncle Jarrod this would be #7 and #10 haha). I tell Tim he is going to look like a vampire. I don't know why those centrals aren't through yet, leave it to our child he has to be different. We had a great 3 day family weekend but all things must come to an end. Well I am going to get off Tage needs his bath and we need to get the boys to bed.

Happy New Year!!!

Well we are finally home after our Christmas break. We headed out the Tuesday before Christmas and went to Tim's side of the family. We went to Aunt Sister's house Christmas Eve for our meal and exchanged gifts with all the kids. Tage got a John Deer blanket, a puppy dog, a coin set and other great gifts. Christmas morning we had our Christmas with cousin Annabelle and Grandma and Grandpa Pollard. Tage got a new red wagon, hat with mittens, a walker, tool bench, and some PJs along with other gifts. After we finished opening gifts we loaded up and went to Aunt Neeka and Uncle Jarrod's house for the Johns Christmas. Tage and I read the Christmas story then we all opened gifts. Tage got a horsey, a t-shirt, a tickle me Elmo, a walker, a train with zoo animals, and a cute football picture frame. We ate lunch and played games Christmas afternoon. Tim headed back to Farmington on Monday he had to work Tuesday, but was nice enough to let us stay till Thursday afternoon. Mom and Dad took Tage and I to Harrison to meet Tim and Thursday night we were all back in our own beds (yeah!!) We had a wonderful time seeing everyone, but there is no place like home. New Years day we took down our Christmas decorations and started getting the house back in order and unpacking all our stuff. Saturday Tage decided to sleep till 7:30 which was nice for a change since he had been waking up early all week long. I am cleaning today (dusting and sweeping) something that should have been done weeks ago, but with Tage sometimes it doesn't get done. Tage is growing up too quick. He is sitting up on his own and only has a few topples now. He is really starting to entertain himself with toys which helps me get things done. I still can't believe he is almost 7 months old. Where has the time gone? Glad we got to see everyone and thanks for everything. We love you all. Hope everyone has a great New Year!!!!
