Lazy Bones

Well today Tage has sported around his pajamas all day long. We have all been lazy for that matter. Tage went to bed at 8 last night and woke up this morning at 6. I was so tired and did not want to wake up. When Tage went down for his morning nap we ALL went back to sleep. I had to run into town this afternoon to get a last minute gift and brought home a little Catfish Hole. Thats what we have been doing today just being lazy and packing for the week.

Yesterday we all went to IHOP for breakfast then went to Sams and Walmart. I spent most of the day wrapping gifts. I think we are finished with our Christmas shopping. (yeah!!!) Tage has started saying dada (I know he doesn't know what he is saying but Tim is sooo proud) We are both working tomorrow and then plan on heading to Oil Trough Tuesday morning. I don't know when I will post next it could be after the holidays. Hope everyone has a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Wiggle Worm

Have a little boy here who is moving like you wouldn't believe. I put Tage on the floor this morning while I went upstairs to get some stuff I was maybe gone 5 minutes. When I came back Tage had moved from one side of the room to the other and was caught between his swing and exersaucer. He had both of his socks pulled off and was just talking to himself. I couldn't believe how he had got in there.

We went to the library this morning for story time and singing. They hand out little bells to the kids and Tage just loves ringing those bells. One of the moms from our moms club told me that Pier One has them right now for sale. We went there after the library and got Tage a set for Christmas however he has been playing with them since we got home and I don't have the heart to wrap them up just yet. He loves going to the library and watching all the kids dance around. The lady brought out a bubble machine today and Tage got soooo excited when he saw the bubbles.

Last night we went to a Christmas party.... one of the vendors Tyson does business with took Tims group and their spouses out to eat at a very nice steakhouse. We had stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes, onion rings, 8 oz fillet ($35), potato, salad, and fresh berry cobbler. One of the best steaks I have every had. We had a nice time visiting with everyone and got a night to ourselves without the monster:) The monster spent the evening at Miss Ambers house when we picked him up both him and Miss Amber where in their PJs. I think he had a good time with her and her two boys.

Well hello everyone I can't believe it has been a week since I posted something. We are so busy right now with Christmas parties, shopping, gift wrapping, and just daily activities. There has been some big highlights within the last week. I am just going to recap a little and catch everyone up. Tage is sitting up and is doing quite well with this. He does have his moments where he falls over, but I guess that is still expected. He is also turning over in his bed (he has been rolling over since he was 4 1/2 months old) we went in his room to get him up from his afternoon nap and there he was starring us in the eye just smiling laying on his back. He sleeps on his belly so we were surprised to find him on his back. Its funny you can hear him talking over the monitor when he wakes up he doesn't fuss he just talks to himself. We went and saw Santa Claus Friday at the mall. I didn't know how he would do, but Santa didn't intimidate him until mommy told on him for throwing his toys off his highchair. To my surprise Santa said thats what mommies were for and didn't think Tage did anything wrong. I guess Santa will be stopping at our house after all:) Grandma and Grandpa Johns came up this weekend and brought us MORE Christmas lights. Tim was thrilled about this (yeah right) When it comes to Christmas Tim is like the Grinch. He's not big on the holidays and of course Christmas is my FAVORITE holiday. The lights are so beautiful and its a great time to be with family. Saturday we were Christmas shopping most of the day and then finished up with a meal at Catfish Hole (Tims favorite place to eat) Sunday we just did some r and r and got ready for Monday our work days. I do have a report on Tage when I went to pick him up from Miss Ambers I walked in the door and someone was throwing a fit just crying something awful. Miss Amber didn't know what to do she was rocking him and trying to calm him down. We think it was his teeth bothering him and the lack of an afternoon nap. He has a hard time sleeping with all the kids playing. Today we went out to eat lunch with dad at Red Lobster. Tage slept through it all and then we went to Wal-Mart to get some last minute Christmas gifts. Tage went down for his afternoon nap at 3:30 and is still sleeping. I thought this would be a good time to update the blog. I apologize again for taking so long to update I will try better this week. Hope everyone has a good night.

Johnny Applesauce

Sorry it has been a couple of days since our last post. We have been very busy. I worked my regular Monday, but also filled in for one of the hygienists today. Nothing much has been going on here. Tage has been working on his sitting up and Miss Amber reported to us that he was scooting for toys. I tell you what it seems like every day he is doing something new. He is growing up TOO quick. I never thought I would say this because when he was little I was ready for him to get to this stage and now I don't want him to grow up. Tage has had quite an eating spell tonight. I would say he has the munchies. I tend to have them often I guess he gets that from his mommy. He ate a #1 banana and a #2 applesauce tonight. (he usually eats a #1 for lunch and one for dinner...tonight he ate 3 times what he usually does) He LOVES applesauce and opens so wide when I show him the spoon. We have decided to give him the nickname Johnny Applesauce:)

I just put the little guy down for the night. He and Buddy are so exhausted, too much Dog Party and daycare. We watched a Charlie Brown Christmas tonight and the little boy just stared at the TV. Tim got so tickled watching him he had such a serious look on his face. He was definitely into the show. We plan on staying around the house tomorrow and get some Christmas gifts wrapped. They are calling for some very cold weather so I want to keep Tage in since we are getting over a cold. Hope everyone has a good night we will check in later:)

What a wonderful day I had today!!!!! I was able to do some shopping AND get a pedicure while Tim watched Tage. I told Tim when I left the house don't be surprised if I don't come back. I have 3 boys and they ALL are mamas boys. Some days I feel like running away. I do have a wonderful husband that helps out soooo much!!!

Yesterday we were planning on seeing Santa at Tim's work, but due to Tage not feeling well we decided to stay at home. We all have colds and this weather isn't helping any. We are trying to get Tage back to normal before next weekend, we are planning on going to Silver Dollar City to see the Christmas lights. We hung out around the house yesterday and got everything in order that way we could relax this weekend. Tim brought supper in last night we had the Catfish Hole!!!(much better than Sissy's Tim says) This is Tims favorite place to eat catfish.

Today Tim and Tage were changing out the lights and the light switch in the kitchen. We think Tage is going to be an electrician. (there are 2 pictures that make us think this) He was so occupied with the lights while Tim was working. I was afraid about Tim starting this project. I could only image being out of kitchen lights until Sir came up to fix the problem, but I was wrong and ALL lights are working. I didn't know my husband had so many talents. We are getting ready to give Tage his bath. I will wrap this up for tonight. I do want to share one of Tage's Christmas gifts. I found this Razorback beanie that was handmade by a lady and thought this was the coolest thing since his daddy loves the Razorbacks.

Well today we had our first train ride. Tage did pretty good till about half way through then he started to get fussy, but eventually fell asleep. We got some cute pictures. We sat with our friends Courtney and Sydney(Tages little friend). A big group of us from the Moms Club went and we had a great time. Anna Maria was there and loved on Tage. She is about 2 years old and acts like a little mother to Tage (feeds him a bottle, wipes his nose, etc). We are planning to go see Santa tomorrow at Tim's work. I hope this trip goes well that way we don't embarrass Tim. He gets very nervous when Tage starts to get LOUD. Well I guess I will wrap things up here. Hope everyone has a good night!

Well its been awhile since we have posted anything and I apologize. With the holidays and travel we stayed VERY busy. I will just recap a little about the last week. We left Tuesday for Mountain View and picked Tim up in Russellville on our way down. We stayed in Mountain View till Thursday and headed to Concord after our Thanksgiving dinner. We were able to see Tim's mothers side and catch up with everyone. Thanksgiving night we stayed in Oil Trough and were there till Sunday morning. Cousin Annabelle and Tage got to play together and we were able to get some shopping done on Friday while Bobby and Brenda kept the kids. We mainly just rested and relaxed while we were gone. (which was much needed) Over all the trip was great, it just hit us when we got home we were so exhausted. Monday we went to work and the boys went to Dog Party and Miss Amys. Tage's babysitter is on vacation so he stayed with a lady I work with and her little boy. She sent us a couple of pictures and it looked like they had a good time. Tuesday was a rough day, Tage is getting a cold and didn't sleep good Monday night and was off schedule Tuesday. Last night went good, but he woke up at 6:15 this morning and has only had an hour nap. We are staying around the house since it is so cold outside and getting ready for Tage's first train ride tomorrow. We are going with the Moms Club on a train ride from Springdale to Lowell it will only be a 25 min. train ride, but I think this will be long enough for the kids. Tim informed me last night that Santa was going to be at Tyson Friday for all the kids to get pictures and tell him their Christmas wishes. I am planning on taking Tage if everything works out with his nap schedule. I am going to post some pictures from the holiday week. Hope you enjoy!
